Podcasts

Here’s a selection of podcasts that I have appeared in. Please see below for some context on the respective podcasts.

Product Agility (October 2025): This is a short interview recorded after my presentation at Productized Conference 2025 in Lisbon. We spoke about the topics of my talk which was about Intentional Leadership in the AI age an how why it’s so important that as product leaders we take an active role in shaping you we use AI in our product work - individually and as a team.

Product Experience (June 2024): For this podcast, Randy Silver and I had a conversation about the imporartance of clarity for product people. We approach it by talking about my mental model of 4 layers of clarity: Directional Clarity, Situational Clarity, Role Clarity and Clear Communication.

Produktwerker (April 2025 - in German): Another long conversation on the topic of clarity for product people. This time with Tim Klein from Produktwerker Podcast Team

Produktmenschen (September 2021 - in German): The most personal podcast in this selection. I had the pleasure of being the first ever guest in Tobias Freundenreich’s Produktmenschen Podcast in which he takes the listeners on a journey into the personal side of product people. I really appreciated the welcoming atmosphere Tobias created and the prompts he use to trigger reflections going back to my childhood. Even my mother and my kids enjoyed listening.

Produktkraft (December 2024 - in German): A conversation with fellow product leader Jan Hoppe on our different experiences of Product Leadership in organizations with 1000, 100 or 10 people. While I mostly talk about my experience with large and mid-sized organizations, Jan’s perspective are early and rather small start-ups.

Product Confidential (Feb 2025): In this conversation with MIchael Palmer and Evie Brockwell I share some of my thoughts on the impact of AI on product management work - and why human traits are more important than ever.

ProductOps Podcast (August 2023): In this conversation with Gerisha Nadaraju we talk about my perspective on Product Operations and why I would have wished that this role existed earlier when I started my product career.

Product Experience (May 2020): In this podcast Selena Hadzibabic, Lily Smith, Randy Silver and I celebrate the 10 year anniversary of ProductTank - my favourite Meetup for product people. I was lucky enough to be co-founder of ProductTank Hamburg, one of the first ProductTanks outside of London and the people I met as a consequence of this (and that eventually lead to the start of Product at Heart) heavily influenced my professional network and how I think about product.

Product Pioneers (October 2020): For this episode with Fran Alkyat I share some learnings from my professional development and speak about XING’s alignment framework Auftragsklärung.

Productized (February 2016): For this conversation with Daniel Zacarias & Andre Marquet we go deep on the topic of Auftragsklärung, an alignment framework I helped to create with some colleagues at XING. We recorded this when I was speaking at ProductTank Lisbon, my first of many professional visits to Portugal.
